Bicycle Friendly East Lansing is a group of community members working toward safe and equitable transportation for all residents.

Our mission is to make East Lansing a place where bicycling is a real transportation and recreation option for all - safe, confident, and joyful, snow or shine. We advocate for people‑first streets, expand access and education, and organize and empower neighbors to shape policies that improve life for all. Guided by the values of the Bicycle Friendly America program, we work for healthier people, a stronger community, and sustainable transportation.
